Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for rehabilitating sick or injured eagles, ultimately reintroducing them into their natural habitats where they belong.
We believe that this Eagle Hack Site will set a new standard for eagle rehabilitation and release efforts nationwide,. Through our collaborative efforts with partners and stakeholders, we are committed to making a lasting impact on the conservation of these magnificent birds.
The Eagle Hack Site represents a giant step forward in raptor conservation and rehabilitation. Unlike traditional rehabilitation methods, the Eagle Hack Site provides a specialized environment where eagles can fully regain their strength, skills, and instincts before being released into the wild. Hacking is a falconry technique that has been used for thousands of years. What make the Arizona Raptor Center the most successful at this technique is the center is run by only experienced falconers.
With expert care provided by the Arizona Raptor Center team, all experienced falconers who are wildlife rehabilitators, eagles undergoing rehabilitation at the site receive the best possible chance for successful reintegration into their natural ecosystems.
When the eagles are in the Hack Site they are fed daily - eating about half a pound to a pound of game meat daily. This is very expensive and your donations will greatly help.
